Breaking new ground

Modern Artists Gallery is pleased to present a double exhibition of new works by Paul Wright and Jonathan Worth, extending on all two floors of the gallery this November.
By popular demand, the celebrated portrait artist Paul Wright returns to the Modern Artists Gallery, alongside esteemed photographer Jonathan Worth, in an exhibition encompassing portraiture and landscape paintings and photography.
Previously selected for the BP National Portrait Award in 2006, Wright has been described by art critic Darryl McCarthy as “an artist of uncommon accomplishment and talent”. His work was recently featured on BBC1’s Star Portraits with Rolf Harris.
Jonathan Worth has photographed some of the World’s most famous names for magazines including Vogue, Rolling Stone and Fortune. Best known for his large-scale portrait projects, his recent series of the England Football team, was exhibited at the Royal Exchange in London, and in Japan alongside designer Paul Smith’s work.
We look forward to seeing spectacular imagery from this collaboration between Wright and Worth at Modern Artists Gallery.
